Advanced Technologies Implemented in the 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5

Hyundai has announced its plans of launching a series of electric vehicles under the same model name Ioniq. Therefore, it is pretty understandable that Hyundai wants to erect the Ioniq as a sub-brand of itself that will focus only on manufacturing green vehicles. However, we have already seen the Ioniq family of cars in the automobile market, as a standalone vehicle that had a few trims on its board to offer its buyers. However, from now onwards the Ioniq name will stand for a family of electric vehicles with more number of vehicles taking shelter under the same umbrella.

As learned from the Philadelphia Hyundai dealer, the 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 will join the show as a new model of compact crossover to hit the road with a battery pack under its hood as the sole power option. Wearing a classic yet hot design of a hatchback, the 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 will have a gentle touch of modernization, making its appearance smarter than ever before.

Feature Packages to Offer

It is now declared from Hyundai itself that the 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 will come in three distinctive trims named the SE, SEL, and Limited and each of them will be loaded with a plethora of comfort and convenience-oriented features which will function in support of the latest technologies. As the rumors go, Hyundai also has plans to launch its first In-vehicle payment system in this model as well.

All-Electric Performance

Hyundai has announced two power options for its 2022 Ioniq 5 series The standard power variant will have a 58 kWh battery pack that will power the rear wheels following the standard configuration and raise a horsepower of 168 units, through its electric motor.

The 2022 Ioniq 5 will present a handful of EVs that already is much on market demand. The power plant it will move on has made its capacity known to the world for providing perky acceleration moments, inducing an exciting driving experience to all who love to take the pilot seat. The motor that is set up as the standard powertrain component of this EV model will take around 8.5 seconds to speed up to 60 mph from a complete standstill.

If you go for the bigger sized battery power of 73 kWh, with an RWD drivetrain, it will provide you with 225-horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It will pick up the speed of 60 mph within 7.4 seconds. Opting for the AWD variant will increase the power output to a whopping 320 horsepower with 446-pound feet of torque that leaves a tough challenge to the base models of Tesla 3 models.

If you ask the professional test drivers of the Philly Hyundai dealer, they will say overall, driving a 2022 Ioniq 5 will beget you an impressive drive experience that will be the direct outcome of a splendid performance, when you compare it with other EV models of its kind. Based on the joint Electric-Global Modular Platform of Hyundai and Kia, the 2022 Ioniq 5 will make a strong impression with its nimble steering responses that will keep the car totally under your control.
